Kindergarten
"Let the little children come to me, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such children."
In their earliest years, children are encouraged to explore, play, feel, collaborate, and discover. We value active learning, incorporating interdisciplinary projects and sensory experiences that foster a love of learning and a sense of wonder for the world
Through games, stories, dialogue, and inquiry, our students develop:
As they advance from Kindergarten to 1st Grade, they begin their formal bilingual literacy journey, with materials, routines, and spaces designed to ensure fluidity, enchantment, and safety.
Saint John Chrysostom
"To educate a child is to form a human being for eternity."
From an early age, our students engage in integrated classes that promote imagination, curiosity, and reflection. We use the STREAM approach — Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, and Math — as the foundation of a comprehensive, faith-based education.
Science encourages curiosity and observation of the world around them. Children, naturally inquisitive, learn to explore and understand cause-and-effect relationships through sensory experiences, observations of nature, and projects involving plants, animals, the human body, and everyday phenomena.
The emphasis on technology extends beyond screens and digital devices. Engaging in this area involves stimulating thought, logic, and curiosity about how things work, always considering the development and age of our students.
Integrated with areas of knowledge, the spiritual dimension is present in experiences, projects, and reflections that connect learning to transcendence and personal mission. Faith interacts with science, art, and technology, helping to form wise hearts open to mystery.
Engineering education involves the creative exploration of construction, problem-solving, and structured thinking, rather than complex projects or calculations. Working with engineering at this stage consists of encouraging children to observe, plan, test their ideas, and refine solutions.
Through multiple languages and materials, children are encouraged to express their emotions, worldviews, and experiences with freedom and originality, developing an aesthetic eye and an appreciation for beauty.
Mathematics goes far beyond numbers and calculations. Our goal is to develop logical thinking, spatial reasoning, and problem-solving skills from the earliest years of life, always in a fun and concrete way. Children learn mathematical concepts through play, games, music, stories, and everyday experiences.
"Beauty leads us to God. Therefore, art must be present from the beginning of education." início da educação.”
Our mission begins with the heart. At Kinder, values such as honesty, kindness, gratitude, and respect are lived out daily—with intentionality and love.
The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is part of our methodology and is integrated into the children’s daily routine from an early age. Inspired by Montessori pedagogy, it guides young children to listen to the Word, engage in contemplation, practice silence, and build a personal relationship with Jesus. In carefully prepared environments, such as the Atrium, the liturgy is experienced with both body and heart.
Furthermore the Virtues Program is transversal throughout the curriculum, offering concrete pathways to peaceful coexistence, character formation, and spiritual growth.
"Faith education begins in childhood and must be carried out with gentleness, patience, and joy."
At Heavenly, the beginning of school signifies more than just an academic journey. It represents the first step in our mission to nurture a complete individual—one who loves, learns, thinks, prays, and is fascinated by the power of education. We believe that children already have great purposes — and we are here to cultivate this inner Heaven from an early age.
